SaintA Presents MILWAUKEE 53206
August 15, 2017 @ 4:30 pm - 7:30 pm
*Parents can earn CE credits for attending the screening of this film.
It’s difficult to fathom, but the United States has the most prisoners of any developed nation. This is not something that’s happening “somewhere else,” either.
Milwaukee’s largely African American zip code 53206 is the most incarcerated zip code in the world. With 62% of its adult men having spent time in prison, 53206 is a microcosm of the daily realities of those affected by mass incarceration in America.
The community is invited to watch this important documentary film, sponsored by the SaintA Diversity Committee.
